The colours
Mix mag is also different as they make the cover appealing to all by adding colours aswell as interesting pictures , but again it is to do with the image they are trying to uphold, mix mag is trying to keep a current hip image which is achieved with use of bright colours and loud typography.

With ID magazine the most common colours seem to be Black and white which are the colours that i want to use, they create a sense of elegance as well as mystery.
With NME magazine the colour schemes are bold and in your face to grab attention, it also goes with the genre of music that it is trying to represent. The different colours could be eye catching if used correctly, with the lady gaga issue the yellow is bright but the blue over powers it which makes the title eye catching.
